One Response to trailerclash 101: War Games

  1. John says:

    Great episode
I was very skeptical of Spike Lee’s remake of Oldboy until I saw the trailer. I’m a big fan of the original movie and I was very pleased to see that the remake appears to be staying very faithfful (even down to the hallway fight scene) and now I’m really looking forward to it.
Also, after finding out about I Declare War in last week’s episode, I decided to rent it and absolutely loved it. The way in which the kids’ war game was depicted, both the reality of it and the way they imagined it, was charming and, at points, very funny and it completely reminded me of my childhood. However, looking at it from the other side 30 years later, it was also really unnerving and powerful. The movie also featued some brilliant performances from the cast (all of whom were kids). I highly recommend seeing it.
    Love the show.
